Samurai Claremont Dojo recently hosted an exhilarating boxing and kickboxing fight night, to raise funds for the Claremont dojo karate team as they prepare for the KSI World Championships in Finland this June. No less than 12 Samurai fighters faced off against competitors from Tricore and Montana boxing gyms, creating a night filled with intense bouts and hefty competition. We were also treated to a karate kumite fight and a unison kata display by students with their sights set on gold at the world champs.
The crowd was invested and the energy was electric as supporters cheered on their favourite fighters. The camaraderie amongst the participants was also palpable, reflecting the strong community spirit between these dojos.
A special thanks goes to Graeme Richards, whose engaging presence as the MC kept the crowd informed and excited throughout the evening. His ability to connect with the audience added to the overall quality of the event.
