On a sunny Saturday morning, karate students and their families gathered at Muizenberg’s Sunrise Beach for a fun training session and beach cleanup. The atmosphere was light and happy as children and adults enjoyed the unique challenge of training on the sand and in the water.
After the training and armed with gloves, trash bags, and a commitment to protect our beautiful beaches, everyone fanned out across the sand to pick up litter. It was a fantastic way to blend physical activity with environmental responsibility, demonstrating how our Samurai spirit extends beyond the dojo.
To say thank you for all the hours of training and commitment to their students, parents and students clubbed together for festive hampers full of treats for each of our senseis, which were also handed over on the day.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event!
Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous festive season.
