Celebrating 2024 Samurai Style

Samurai Claremont recently celebrated a year of hard work and achievement with an impressive Last Samurai themed year-end celebration. With a touch of tradition, the dojo family came together to reflect on the progress made in 2024.

The stunning decorations put together by the décor team captured the essence of Japanese culture, the music set the mood, and the food was delicious and abundant. The effort everyone put into dressing up in line with our Samurai theme made the evening so much more fun – from elegant kimonos to creative interpretations of Samurai attire (*ahem Sensei Robbie and Jess*) the effort added an extra layer of festivity to the evening, making it not just a celebration but a display of our dojo’s spirit.

One of the highlights was of course the recognition of our prize winners. Each award was a testament to countless hours of training, perseverance, and personal growth. Congratulations to all the winners; your achievements are inspiring!

As a token of appreciation for everyone’s hard work and dedication, each student received a Progress Certificate, a beautiful origami box filled with a fortune cookie, and a Mushin (no-mind) poem bookmark — a reminder to maintain clarity and focus in both martial arts and in life.

Thank you all for making our year-end celebration a success. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and excellence at Samurai Claremont.
