It’s always a pleasure to host Tricor’s fighters at Samurai Dojo. Recently we had the opportunity to rotate boxing rounds with them, allowing our fighters to mix it up with different fighters and skill levels. This kind of training is invaluable for development, particularly under the solid guidance of Coach Bruce from Samurai and Coach Ruan from Tricor.

Three of our fighters – Jack Cowlin, Cleophas Ndebele and Chris Woodward (L-R above) – recently stepped into the ring at Tricor’s white-collar event in Kraaifontein, and their hard work in training truly shone through. As their cornerman, I had the honour of witnessing their dedication pay off. Each fighter displayed remarkable skill and resilience, showcasing the techniques and strategies they honed under the guidance of Coach Bruce. The experience was not only inspiring but also a testament to the strength of our dojo’s training environment.

At Samurai Dojo, we believe that such collaborations enhance our training environment and foster a spirit of camaraderie among fighters. We look forward to more events like this, where we can continue to learn and grow together in the art of combat sports.

Keep training hard, everyone!
