This past weekend, Samurai dojo was vibrating with the unmistakable sound of hitting and kicking, as karateka of all ages gathered to raise funds for our Samurai Claremont squad heading to Finland in June for the KSI World Championships.

From our youngest white belts to our most seasoned black belts, the dojo was packed with participants eager to support their teammates. For a full hour, the tatami was alive with kicks and punches, each strike a commitment to the cause.

There was plenty of sweat, a few spontaneous dance breaks, and an overwhelming sense of camaraderie. Whether it was tiny karateka landing a solid punch or veteran black belts demonstrating experienced technique, every moment was a reminder of what makes our dojo special. Events like these showcase the true spirit of Samurai Claremont – not just in physical skill, but in community, perseverance, and heart.

The ImpactThon was a testament to our students’ dedication – not only to their own growth but to supporting each other as a team. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, donated, and helped organise this fantastic event. Your energy and generosity make a real difference. We can’t wait to see our squad shine in Finland!
